About Suji Ka Halwa:
Suji ka halwa is a type of Indian dessert, which is made by roasted suji known as semolina, ghee, sugar, and dry fruits. It can be served for breakfast or as a dessert item. This basic recipe is made with just semolina, sugar, ghee, and dry nuts.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup of suji/semolina.
- 1/2 cup of ghee or as required.
- 1/2 cup sugar or to taste.
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder.
- 10-15 cashews nuts chopped or halves.
- 10-15 almonds finely chopped.
- 10-15 raisins.
- Pinch of salt.
- 2-1/2 cups of hot water.
Note: You may increase or decrease the quantity of ingredients depending on for how many people you are making for.
Method of Making Suji Ka Halwa:
- Take a heavy bottom pan and heat it on a low flame.
- When pan is hot, add 1 tablespoons of ghee.
- When, ghee is hot, add raisins and saute on a low to medium flame until raisins swells up.
- Then, transfer them into a plate and keep aside for later use.
- Then, add rest of the ghee to the pan.
- When ghee is hot, add suji and mix nicely.
- Then, roast the suji with ghee on a very low flame until it changes colour or turns light brown in colour. Stir continuously.
- When suji is nicely roasted, add hot water and mix them well so that there are no lumps.
- Then, cook the suji on a low flame until suji soaked all the water. Stir continuously.
- Then, add sugar and pinch of salt and mix well.
- Then, cook them on a low flame until ghee gets separated from the halwa.
- Then, add cardamom powder, chopped almonds, cashew nuts, and raisins and mix them well.
- Then, turn off the flame and serve this halwa hot or cold as desired.
